Step 1: Let's Get to Know You!
The Initial Intake Process
Getting started is easy! When you contact our office, our team will help gather some basic information about your child, including contact details, insurance information, and the therapy services you're interested in.
To make your first visit easier, we encourage families to complete our New Patient Forms ahead of time.
You can download and complete the forms at home and bring them to your first appointment. If you prefer to complete them in our office, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Step 2: Referrals & Insurance
We're Here to Help You Navigate the Details
Depending on your insurance plan, a referral or prescription from your child's physician may be required before beginning therapy.
Your physician can fax the necessary documentation directly to our office at (240) 256-3612.
Once we receive your completed New Patient Forms and any required physician documentation, our billing specialist will help you understand your insurance benefits and answer questions about coverage.
We want you to feel informed and confident as you prepare for your child's first visit.
Step 3: Your Child's First Appointment

Your child's first appointment will typically include an evaluation with one of our therapy professionals.
During this visit, we'll take time to learn about your child's strengths, developmental needs, and the goals that matter most to your family.
Based on the evaluation, your therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan designed to support your child's growth and progress.
Our goal is to create a positive, encouraging experience where your child feels comfortable, supported, and ready to learn.
